Irwin and Mucciardi Selected as 2026 NECBL All-Star Game Broadcasters

North Adams SteepleCats broadcaster Jake Irwin, as well as Danbury Westerners broadcaster Luca Mucciardi have been voted as the duo assigned to cover the 2026 NECBL All-Star Game this Sunday at Sanford's Goodall Park in Sanford, Maine. 

Irwin, a class of 2024 graduate of Penn State University, has covered their Blue-White scrimmage game, as well as Penn State hockey as a member of CommRadio. On top of that, he shared the mic with Jack Rachinsky, the main broadcaster for the Vermont Mountaineers. He has additional experience with the Altoona Curve as an operations intern, as well as with the Cincinnati Cyclones hockey team as a media relations and broadcasting intern. 

Entering his senior year at the University of Miami, Luca Mucciardi serves as the Sports Director of WVUM 90.5, while balancing roles with UMTV and the Miami Hurricane Newsletter. He already boasts big game experience, covering the 2026 National Championship game between Miami and Indiana, as well as the 2024 Jimmy V Classic against Tennessee. 

The Home Run Derby will air at 2:30 p.m., and the All-Star Game will air at 5:00 p.m., both on NECBL+.
